ADOPTION APPLICATION

In order to be considered as an adopter, you must:

​      Be 18 years of age.

      Have a valid photo I.D. showing your current address.

      Have consent from your Landlord/Homeowner.

      Understand that DreamCatcher Feline Rescue has the right to verify all

      information on this application, including a reference and vet check.

We are located in Lehigh County, PA, USA and prefer to adopt out to homes within 2 hours of our location, but will consider adopters who live further away.  Please note that adopters are not selected on a first come/first serve basis. Cats/Kittens will be adopted to the family who we deem is the best possible fit.  We reserve the right to refuse any placement that is not consistent with the welfare of the animal.  This is not a reflection on you personally, but rather that a particular pet many not do well in your situation, and we may have a different pet that would be a better fit in your home.  Our experience in this area is our guide to a successful adoption.

The adoption fee is $100 for cats, and $150  for kittens, due at the time of adoption.  Your application is valid for 6 months.

I understand that DreamCatcher Feline Rescue is a rescue group located in Lehigh County, PA, USA, whose mission is to rescue abandoned kittens and cats with nursing litters.  
 
I understand that the cats or kittens that I am meeting and/or adopting are community cats or kittens born of community cats and that DreamCatcher Feline Rescue does not have knowledge of their health history prior to rescue.
 
I understand that DreamCatcher Feline Rescue makes no representations about any cat's or kitten’s health. I also understand that the cat(s) or kitten(s) I am meeting and/or adopting may not have been vaccinated to prevent rabies (due to age) or other diseases or have undergone other medical care.  Knowing these things, I hereby agree to release and hold harmless from liability DreamCatcher Feline Rescue, its volunteers and agents from any injury, illness or damages I may sustain when meeting any kittens for adoption.

I understand that filling out this application, liability form, subsequent adoption contract, and/or attending a meet and greet does not guarantee that I will be selected to adopt. All applicants are thoroughly vetted and cats/kittens are placed with applicants that are identified as the best fit for the cat/kitten.
