Meet and Greet Release from Liability ​

I understand that DreamCatcher Feline Rescue is a nonprofit cat rescue located in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, whose mission is to rescue abandoned cats, kittens, and nursing mothers.

I understand that the cat(s) or kitten(s) I am meeting and/or adopting may have originated as community cats or may have been born to community cats. Because of their background, DreamCatcher Feline Rescue may have little or no information regarding their medical history, behavior, or prior care before they entered the rescue.

I understand that, although DreamCatcher Feline Rescue provides appropriate veterinary care to the best of its ability while the cat(s) or kitten(s) are in its care, the rescue cannot guarantee the health, temperament, or future medical condition of any cat or kitten.

I understand that some kittens may not yet be old enough to receive a rabies vaccination or certain other vaccinations or medical treatments at the time of the meet and greet or adoption.

I voluntarily choose to participate in this meet and greet and understand that interacting with cats and kittens carries inherent risks, including but not limited to scratches, bites, allergic reactions, or the potential transmission of disease.

By participating in this meet and greet, I assume all such risks and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless DreamCatcher Feline Rescue and its officers, directors, volunteers, foster caregivers, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, injuries, illnesses, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in the meet and greet or my interaction with any cat or kitten, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

I understand that submitting an adoption application, signing this Release of Liability, signing a subsequent adoption agreement, and/or attending a meet and greet does not guarantee approval to adopt.

I understand that all applicants are carefully screened and that each cat or kitten is placed with the applicant whom DreamCatcher Feline Rescue determines to be the best overall match for that individual animal, based solely on the cat's or kitten's welfare and long-term success.
